Did we ever imagine that these fine institutions would be co-sponsoring the first ever rock concert at the Guildhall in its 600 year history in aid of the Lord Major's Appeal (Alderman Michael Bear, our Lord Mayor, himself a property man)?
But it is happening and it's coming soon!
Yours truly, SH Prop. Fin. partner (and occasional guitar widdler) has the great honour of chairing an august charity committee of no less than around 150 worthies, including many from the ranks of the APB.
All is revealed in www.cityrocks.org.uk but rest assured that an iconic evening is promised including champagne reception, rock concert (headlined by Bryan Adams, no less) and after-show party in the Crypt, with charity auction, featuring Angelina Jolie's necklace as worn in "Salt" amongst other items!.
